アップライトピアノの整備の続きです。木口を塗装して、ピアノ内部はチューニングピン、弦、バランス+フロントキーピンの研磨、ハンマーファイリング、アクションの清掃を経て組立。写真の口棒の錠前はマスキングテープを貼って塗装したままです。まだシーズニングしています。

Upright piano refurbishing continues.  Painting key front and cleaning tuning pis, strings, balance/front key pins, filing hammer heads and action cleaning.  Finish must be seasoned more.

その後調律。弦を張り替えるか悩むところでしたが、このピアノに関してはお求めやすい価格でご提供したいため今のところは保留します。小学生くらいのお子さんが、大きくなるまでくらいなら持ちこたえてくれるかなあ。

Tuning the piano after cleaning.  I thought about restringing, but I wanted to display this piano as a low cost product so decided not to.  Hopefully it is OK until a small child becomes an adult.

もう少しシーズニングさせてから最終仕上げに入りたいと思います。後は整調ともう一回調律します。

It will be seasoned a little more.  I will tune again and regulate the piano.
