Heavy work is still going on. Removing varnish and now we can see the bear wood. The growth ring lines are narrow each other, that means the wood had grown in very long time. The brand’s emblem is also removed. There will be a new one to attach. Choosing new varnish may affect the vibration of the sounding board. This is a very sensitive part. And of course, Fun!

ビフォーの写真を撮り忘れましたが、響板のニス剥がしをしました。これまで施工してきたどのピアノとも変わらない作業ですが、出てきた気を見てみると年輪が結構細かいです。響板エンブレムも剥がして、新しいものに交換します。そのあとは塗装ですが、音に影響する部分なのでやりすぎには注意です。
